Specific alerts can be emailed to a Administrator. This can be configured by navigating to Tripshot Admin > Settings > Alerts > Add Alert Subscription.
An Alert can be subscribed based on the following parameters: Region, Vendor, Alert Type, Digest Period, Send To.
Time Filter: Enable this feature to restrict when alerts will be monitored.
Digest Period: To prevent Admins receiving a flood of emails, Tripshot implemented a Digest Period setting. Alerts will be grouped and only one email will be sent based on the configurable Digest Period.
Threshold: The number of alerts of the specified types that must occur before sending an email or creating an incident.
Categorized By: If driver/vehicle/stop/route is specified, then N or more alerts pertaining to a single resource of that type must occur in a single digest period before an email or incident is sent, where "N" is the threshold. The resource that triggered the incident/email will be noted.
Incident Type: This field is to automatically create an incident based upon an alert. Please see the article Creating Incidents from Admin Alerts for more information.
Send To: If you would like to get an email alert you can enter in an email address and/or receive texts to your mobile device by using a text email address (Ex. For Verizon this would be 5551234567@vtext.com). If multiple email addresses are listed use comma (,) as a separator.
